Fee for Degree:

Fee for Diploma:
For the academic year 2019/2020, fees for this course are €2,200. They’re payable directly to BIMM Dublin, with a deposit of €300 required to accept and secure a place on the course.
Shannon College of Hotel Management, founded in 1951, is a Recognised College of the National University of Ireland and offers Bachelors Business Degrees in International Hotel Management. The college is specialised and focused, offering just three programmes. The college’s ethos of ‘Commitment to Excellence’ is reflected throughout the college campus, courses, teaching, services and work placement opportunities. Each year, just 100 new students begin their careers at Shannon College. Graduates receive the only degree in hotel management awarded by the National University of Ireland. Graduates are also recognised by the Institute of Hospitality (IoH), the International Hotel and Restaurant Association and the Irish Hospitality Institute (IHI).
The essence of hotel management education at Shannon College is balancing business and management education with a thorough grounding in all practical aspects of the hotel industry. Overall, Year 1 students have nearly 30 contact hours of lecturing each week; over half of which is in practical training. The students rotate between five practical groups; culinary, food science, restaurant service, accommodation services and information technology; spending two weeks in each before rotating to the next. With our training kitchen and training restaurant, students develop attention to detail to match the work standards found in the world’s top hotels.
Students earn academic credits for their work placements, which are a compulsory element of the degree courses. Shannon College’s Placement Manager administers and monitors the work placement process. Partner hotel companies visit Shannon College to meet and interview students throughout the academic year.
