The University of Bedfordshire has 22,000 students from more than 120 countries world-wide, allowing you to build your own global network in the UK.
We place a strong focus on entrepreneurship, not just employability, so that we can create the kind of graduates that organisations compete to employ.
This is seen in the number of professional accreditations that many of our courses carry, and through the success of our graduates; with 92% in work and/or further study within six months of graduating (DLHE 2014). We're also continuing to invest in 1,000's of new student placements, across our campuses, so that you can be ready to enter the global world of business upon graduation. Our current Student Internship Scheme (SIS) provides students with the opportunity to gain paid-for work experience, with flexible hours to fit around your studies.
In 2013 we launched our Go Global programme, giving students the opportunity to participate in two or three week language and cultural programmes and gain real international business experience. Our Get Into Sport programme offers students free membership throughout the year, so students can attend various sessions throughout the year.
We've been rated within the top ten universities for improving the student experience, a leading university for developing career prospects and within the top 25 universities for personal development (National Student Survey 2015).
